We had over 300 hundred runners at the Bears Ears Run 2019 this year the Bears Ears Summer Gathering in San Juan County, Utah! This was by the far the largest turn out we have ever had and made the event the final day one of the strongest for attendance in the five years the annual Gathering has been going on. Although this is only the third run event we’ve done, each time has been a new and exciting experience with lots of learning every time. Next year, we hope to implement some of those teaching moments for tracking race results such as making sure the awards are given out quickly. This year was a great run bringing folks from all over the southwest region, including some Pueblo folks from New Mexico, returning back to the original homelands and running with other Indigenous brothers and sisters from all over the country. Thank you for attending!
